Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) for F&B POS in Singapore

PSG may help eligible local SMEs offset up to 50% of eligible costs when adopting pre-approved productivity solutions. Here is what restaurant operators should check before choosing a POS—and how Atlas connects ordering, payments, kitchen operations and delivery channels.

The short answer

PSG supports pre-approved IT solutions and equipment that improve productivity. For an F&B business, the practical question is not simply “Is a POS covered?”

Is the exact solution package and vendor currently listed, does your company meet the eligibility rules, and does the quotation match the pre-approved scope?

Eligibility

Who may be eligible?

Enterprise Singapore currently lists these core criteria. Eligibility still depends on the official rules and the selected package.

  1. 01Your business is registered and operating in Singapore.
  2. 02At least 30% of the company’s equity is held directly or indirectly by Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
  3. 03Group annual sales turnover does not exceed S$100 million, or group employment does not exceed 200 employees.

  5. 05You have not paid or placed a deposit for the solution before submitting the application.

Application process

How the PSG process works

Choose for operational fit first, then follow the official package, quotation and application requirements carefully.

  1. 01

    Define the operational problem

Start with the workflows you need to improve: counter ordering, table service, kitchen routing, menu updates, delivery-platform orders, reporting or multi-outlet control.

  2. 02

    Find a supported solution

Search the official GoBusiness directory and confirm the exact solution name, vendor and package scope.

  3. 03

    Request a matching quotation

For IT solutions, the quotation should come from the pre-approved vendor and match the selected package’s items and costs.

  4. 04

    Prepare your documents

This can include financial statements, the quotation, deployment-location evidence and a description of expected business impact.

  5. 05

    Apply before paying

Submit through the Business Grants Portal using Corppass. Enterprise Singapore says a complete application usually takes about six weeks to process.

  6. 06

    Review the Letter of Offer

If approved, accept the stated conditions, support amount, qualifying period and approved solution scope within the required timeline.

  7. 07

    Deploy, use and claim

Deploy and use the approved solution for at least 30 days, then submit the required invoice, payment and usage evidence by the claim due date.

Only the approved solution cost is supported; delivery, installation and other administrative charges may be excluded. Review the official application steps before committing to a purchase.

POS selection

A grant can lower cost. It cannot fix the wrong system.

Evaluate the POS against the restaurant you need to run after implementation—not only the funding available today.

Ordering workflows

Counter service, table service, kiosk and QR ordering create different service and hardware needs.

One menu across channels

Central menu and modifier management reduces duplicated updates across POS, online ordering and delivery platforms.

Kitchen routing

Orders should reach the right production station clearly and quickly.

Payments and reconciliation

Integrated payment flows can reduce manual keying and reconciliation mismatches.

Delivery-platform operations

Aggregated orders, menus and stock reduce tablet sprawl and repeated admin work.

Multi-outlet controls

Shared reporting, menus, permissions and outlet settings matter more as the business grows.

Support and migration

Hardware setup, menu migration and staff onboarding affect how quickly the team can operate confidently.

Where Atlas fits

One restaurant system across the workflows PSG is meant to improve.

Atlas POS handles in-store orders and payments. The same menu system can support Online, Kiosk and Scan to Order; KDS sends production requirements to the kitchen; and Atlas Aggregator syncs menus, orders and stock with third-party food-delivery platforms.

The Merchant Portal brings orders, inventory, customers, reporting, promotions, menus and outlet settings into one operating layer.
